Ceremonies and Services
Our journey begins with a discussion of your desires and expectations as a couple. Together, we will map out a marriage ceremony that suits your personalities and gives meaning to the commitment you are making to each other.
Basic Civil Ceremony:
Focuses on the legal essentials only. Few or no frills insofar as the marriage ceremony is concerned. Available only if the ceremony is performed at, or very near, our Argyle Shore location. A valid marriage license issued in PEI is required.
Especially-for-Us Ceremony:
The wording and conduct of the marriage ceremony is customized to suit you, as a couple, while incorporating the legal essentials. A valid marriage license issued in PEI is required.
Celebration Ceremony:
For couples who are already legally married but who want to celebrate their commitment in the presence of family and friends. Neither a marriage license nor any other paperwork is required; this marriage ceremony will not be registered in PEI.
I-Would-If-I-Could Ceremony:
Intended for couples who, for whatever reasons, are unable to legally marry but nonetheless wish to formally commit to each other – either privately or in the presence of friends and/or family. This ceremony is for the benefit of the couple and has no legal standing.
Renewal of Vows Ceremony:
Designed for the couple who want to renew their marriage vows, with either the original wording or with updated wording. Neither a marriage license nor any other paperwork is required; this marriage ceremony will not be registered in PEI

- Witnesses
- A private venue for a couples-only marriage ceremony (or, couples with witnesses only).
- Other events that would be enhanced by the presence of an officiant.
- Celebration of Life ... a non-denominational funeral service that is custom designed to help you celebrate the life of your loved one.
- Welcome Baby Ceremony ... a non-denominational welcome of the child to the family.
- Congratulations on your Canadian Citizenship ... a top-up to the official swearing in that allows family and friends to gather and offer good wishes
